Goodbye, Wall Arch

Gravity and erosion finally got the best of the Wall Arch in Arches National Park this week. I didn't see this arch on my road trip back from CA, but I did see it in 2000 when Jaharmi, El Nato, and I drove out west. So this poor quality scan is the best picture I have of what there was.

I think Nate has a better picture of me climbing on a fallen stone pillar from this area, but I don't have it. And before Jeremy starts spreading rumors, this wasn't on the part of the Devils Garden trail where I ditched them for two hours. It was before I split off, just past Landscape Arch. I hope that black middle finger, also known as Dark Angel, never falls down. I worked too hard to see it.
