And no, this isn't about my new house, which will need some decorating as well. This is about the Sabres clinching their first Eastern Conference regular season title since 1980. So make room for some new banners at the HSBC Arena. They will at least hang a Northeast Division champions banner next year. Not sure if they hang another for regular season conference titles or only if you win the Eastern Championship outright in the playoffs.
Of course, we'd all like to see them hang three banners on opening day. But we'll have to wait and see if the hockey gods allow that. Speaking of playoff hockey, where are my stinkin' tickets?
