This picture really hit home for me, since Avalon is one of my favorite places in California. It's very surreal to see flames this close to something you are so familiar with. There were similar pictures posted earlier in the week of flames behind the Griffith Observatory in LA. Wow. Not much more I can say.[via CNN]
