Day 2: That Is One Big Ditch

Not much else to say about the Grand Canyon. It's big, it's pretty, it's impressive. I think I was more awestruck the first time I saw Half Dome and I enjoyed Yosemite's diversity a little more, but it was still pretty darn cool to see this place. Maybe someday I'll come back and hike down into the canyon or do a whitewater trip or something. But I'm content seeing the rim for now.

Next stop: Moab, Utah with a possible break in Monument Valley.
